Author of articles--published by the Royal Conservatory of Music--on sight singing, accompaniment improvisation, and Internet music Web sites. Has presented workshops and lecture-recitals on Spanish nationalist music, accompaniment improvisation, and the music of Chopin.
Extensive teaching and performing experience. Teaches piano, rudiments, harmony, counterpoint, music history, sight singing, ear training, musicianship, keyboard harmony, orchestration, and composition. Prepares students for Conservatory examinations (optional), all Grades through Diploma. Teaches classical as well as popular music. Adult students welcomed.
Winner of ORMTA's Special Teacher of the Year Award (2002) for excellence in musical achievement.
