Dr. Richard Heinzle is the director of Forte Music School in Richmond Hill. He teaches piano, trumpet and theory.

He is organist and choir director at Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church and conducts the McConaghy Singers in Richmond Hill, the Austrian Edelweiss Choir in Etobicoke and the Harfentöne German Male Choir in Toronto. For the last two years, he conducted the massed choir in the Richmond Hill Community Christian Carol Sing. Recently, he conducted a massed choir of 120 voices for the ARH Choral Extravaganza 2010 at the Richmond Hill Center for the Arts.

Richard has been organist at churches in various cities in Canada and the US. He holds the Associate Diploma from the Royal Canadian College of Organists.

Richard has a B.A. degree from Carleton University, where he majored in piano and trumpet. For his M.M. (University of Arkansas) and his D.A. (Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana) he majored in orchestral conducting, with minors in theory and piano. While in Muncie, he was the assistant conductor of the Muncie Symphony, and the conductor of the Youth Orchestra. He has been guest conductor with the Kitchener-Waterloo Community Orchestra, the Lethbridge Symphony, and the Prince George Symphony Orchestra. In Ottawa, he founded and conducted Vivace Orchestra on a tour of the Ottawa Valley which included a performance at the 1995 Governor General's Summer Concerts. He has conducted opera performances at Ball State University, University of Arkansas, and for Opera Breva in Ottawa.
