Patricia Chan holds ARCT Diplomas both in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from The Royal Conservatory of Music. She also earned the Honours Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Music) from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario. Her background includes group instruction (teaching Kindermusik to young children ages 3-5), choral conducting, as well as traditional private piano from the beginner to the advanced levels.

Ms. Chan currently maintains a busy private studio where she teaches piano and theory, and also serves as a member of a number of music organizations including the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association, the Ontario College of Teachers, Canadian Federation of Music Teachers' Association and the Canadian Music Educators Associations.
