Janet Smith has been teaching piano and music theory in Brampton since 1989. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, and an A.R.C.T.. Her students have received awards in the Peel Music Festival, the Mississauga Music Festival and the Brampton Music Festival. She teaches small-group theory classes during the summer, preparing students for August R.C.M. examinations.
