Mr. Fisher graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Music in Performance degree, studying viola with Joyce Gundy, Stanley Solomon and Osher Green. He was a faculty member for the Royal Conservatory of Music for ten years, and is a member of the RCM College of Examiners. He and his wife Mary Fisher are the founders of the Toronto School for Strings.
