Irene Fong Leung provides music lessons at your home or at her studio for private or group piano, rudiments and music history lessons. She is currently accepting new students at all ages and ability levels. Irene Fong Leung holds the Diploma of Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto (ARCT) Piano Teacher and Advance Piano Pedagogy Certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She also holds an Ontario Teaching Certificate with other academic degrees: M.Sc. (Waterloo), B. Ed. (Toronto), B. Sc. (Berkeley, California).

She studied piano pedagogy with the Chief Examiners of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. She has special training to help students with stage fright. She has experience in classical piano, collaborative piano, improvisation, keyboard harmony and jazz piano. She is an active member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association in piano, rudiments, and theory, a member of the National Music Teachers Association in USA and a member of the Ontario College of Teachers.

She has over 17 years of experience teaching private and group lessons in piano, rudiments, and music history. She prepares students for RCM exams with excellent results (above 90%). She prepares students for competitions with first-prize winners.

Irene welcomes you to be her student, if you are a child, an adult, a working professional, stay at home mom, parent and grandparent or, retired, with skills at the total beginner, intermediate or advance levels.
