Natalia Chevtchenko studied violin at the Odessa State Music College and Conservatory in Odessa, Ukraine. After immigrating to Canada, she continued refining her technique at the McGill Conservatory and the Institute Suzuki in Montreal. She currently holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Arts. She is a member of The Suzuki Violin Association of the Americas.

Natalia lives in Thornhill and teaches private students in her studio, as well as ensembles in a recognized music academy in the Greater Toronto Area. In 2004, Natalia toured Russia, Ukraine and France with her students, with great success. Her students have participated in a variety of festivals including the Mandarin Lions Arts Festival, Kiwanis, Canadian Music Competitions and the American Guild of Music. Recently, a student won a prestigious Silver Medal for Violin in Ontario.

She will continue to develop exciting opportunities for her students in 2005, and hopes to become a supportive member of the Ontario Registered Teachers Association.
