Paulette Popp offers an enriched program of private piano lessons and small-group rudiments classes in a creative, encouraging and non-pressured environment.
Students may be prepared for Royal Conservatory examinations, music festivals, recitals and auditions throughout the year.

Paulette's "Lark Piano Studio" is bright and spacious with two pianos and an excellent variety of teaching resource materials. Parents are welcome to sit in on their children's lessons, which are often tape-recorded for home review.
Activities include a Halloween costume recital for young children, in-studio Christmas recitals, examination performance preparation classes, and a gala awards recital in June.

There is a CD lending library in the comfortable waiting room, as well as a practise keyboard; regular studio newsletters and the Wholenote magazine will keep you up to date on studio activities and concerts.

We also offer an optional summer term with flexible scheduling.

In addition to ORMTA, Paulette is a member of the Association of Canadian Women Composers (www.acwc.ca), the Coalition for Music Education in Canada, Arts Richmond Hill, and the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce.

Paulette Popp is a former high school teacher, and mother of four grown children.
