Biography

Now accepting students for the Fall and Winter/Spring Terms. If you are between the ages of 10 and 70, whether you are a beginner or advanced student, give me a call.

Adults: Learning to sing can be fun, whether for professional goals or for your own pleasure. Work on breathing, tone production, good diction, and expression.

Teens: Learn good technique while you prepare for performances, or enjoy

expressing yourself through various styles of music. Variety is the spice of life!

Children: Create good habits while exploring the world of music, with pieces chosen specially for you.

Repertoire is chosen to fit the goals of each student. There is a wide variety of music, including musical theatre, jazz, opera, sacred music, and classical pieces. I prepare students for singing exams, speech/drama exams (RCM and Trinity), school, theatre or university auditions, and music festivals. My students are winners in local and provincial festivals and audition successfully for music and drama programs at the university/college level.

I am a 10 minute walk from the subway station, in the Leslie/Shepherd area. Please feel free to call if you have any questions at all.

Member: ORMTA, National Association of Teachers of Singing (www.nats.org), ACTRA, Canadian Actors' Equity, Canadian Music Festivals Adjudicators Association (www.cmfaa.ca), Theatre Ontario Talent Bank
