Peg Albrect is Professor of Flute at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from St. Olaf College (Northfield, Minnesota) and a Master of Music degree from the University of Toronto. She has performed with the Norwegian Broadcasting Orchestra (Oslo, Norway), Stratford Festival and the Canadian Opera Company.

Ms. Albrectht’s teaching experience spans more than 25 years and includes programs for young students, adults and career students. Many of her students have continued on to university to major in music education, performance and composition. Several are now playing in symphonies in Canada and the USA.
