Irene Ilic received her Master's Degree in Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music and has been teaching privately for over twenty years.  She is also active as a recitalist, clinician, and adjudicator and is a member of NATS (the National Associations of Teachers of Singing) and the CMFAA (Canadian Music Festivals Adjudicators Association).

She prepares students for RCM exams and recently two of her students won the Silver Medal for the highest mark in Ontario for Grade Four and Grade Eight respectively.  Irene is the founder and director of the Newmarket Voice Festival, an annual event since 1996 - see www.newmarketvoicefestival.com and also directs the award-winning triple trio Vivace! who has released a CD and regularly provides entertainment for many corporate events and town functions.
