Instrument(s) Taught: Piano, Theory Forte Music School BiographyDr. Richard Heinzle is the director of Forte Music School in Richmond Hill . He teaches piano and theory. He is organist and choir director at Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church and at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Thornhill. In Scarborough , he conducts the Harmonie Choir, a German heritage choir. Richard has been organist at churches in Ottawa , North Bay , Calgary , Muncie ( Indiana ), and Brampton . Recently, he received a scholarship for achieving the highest mark in the Colleague examinations of the Royal Canadian College of Organists. Richard has a B.A. degree from Carleton University , where he majored in piano and trumpet. For his M.M. ( University of Arkansas ) and his D.A. ( Ball State University , Muncie , Indiana ) he majored in orchestral conducting, with minors in theory and piano. While in Muncie , he was the assistant conductor of the Muncie Symphony, and the conductor of the Youth Orchestra. He has been guest conductor with the Kitchener-Waterloo Community Orchestra, the Lethbridge Symphony, and the Prince George Symphony Orchestra. In Ottawa he founded and conducted Vivace Orchestra on a tour of the Ottawa Valley , including a performance at the Governor General's Summer Concerts.
