Susan Naccache moved from the Ottawa area to Mississauga in January 2004. She has just completed her Masters of Music degree in Cello Performance (Chamber Music) at the University of Ottawa and has already collaborated with musicians from the North Toronto Institute of Music in their final concert of the season on June 6, 2004. Susan has studied with such eminent cellists as Donald Whitton and Alexander Baillie, and has participated in master classes in Canada and the US with Harvey Shapiro, Christopher Bunting, Irene Sharp and Burton Kaplan. Susan has been an RCM affiliate teacher and has had many young students achieve first class honours. She teaches students of all ages and levels. Susan currently is a cellist in the Mississauga Symphony, and has replaced the Principal Cellist on a few occasions. This summer, Susan is participating in the Ottawa Valley Music Festival, in which she is Principal Cellist of the Orchestra.
