My earliest diploma that I achieved was at age 15 from the Associated Board of The Royal Schools of Music, where I passed with Merit (Distinction) in Grade VIII (Final Level) in Pianoforte Examinations. After further studies in Edmonton, Alberta under the tutelage of Professor Edward Lincoln, I passed Grade X piano and theory from the Weston Board of Music with Honours. In later years, I graduated with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Alberta.

I have been teaching since 1990. During my years of teaching, my students have won five Silver medals from the Royal Conservatory of Music, as well as having achieved more than forty "Distinction" Standings in numerous examinations. They also received scholarships from the Kiwanis Music Festival, Peel Music Festival, Yip's Children Music Festival, and Mississauga Music Festival. Many of them have been invited to perform at the "Stars" Concerts of the above Festivals. I was also a member of the Affiliate Teachers' Network of the Royal Conservatory of Music, and numerous students have won the highest honours at their annual Spring Auditions of the Network. In the summer of 1994, I passed the ARCT Piano Pedagogy course, with honours, under Boyanna Toyich. I have been a member of the ORMTA since 1999. Since 2001, my students have won scholarships in respective grades at the year-end ORMTA Scholarships recital. In May 2003 and 2005, one of my students won 1st place in the Piano - 7 yrs. & under category and 2nd place in the 9 yrs. & under category, respectively, at the Provincial Finals of the Canadian Music Competitions Ontario Chapter. In July of 2005, this same student went on to become a National Finalist of the CMC in Edmonton, Alberta.

I have attended teacher's workshops conducted by Marina Geringas and Boris Zarankin since 2000. I have also previously studied privately with Boyanna Toyich, Janet Lopinski, and Boris Zarankin. Currently I'm under the tutelage of Andrew Markow.
