A graduate of Queen's University with an honours degree in performance and a Masters of Education, Ms. Godin also attended the University of Toronto Opera School. She performed as a member and frequent soloist of the Elmer Iseler Singers before developping her current diverse career as soloist in both the concert and theatre worlds. She has performed with many orchestras and choral societies across North America, and has performed at the Stratford Shakespearean Festival, the Guelph Spring Festival and the Toronto International Festival.

Her great interest in teaching has Ms. Godin working with numerous private vocal and piano students, as well as working in the Toronto area with the Artist in the Schools program, where she has been vocal music director for theatre productions and has conducted childrens' choirs. Ms. Godin is an examiner with Conservatory Canada for both voice and piano and is an accomplished pianist, often accompaning her students and choirs, and conducting musical theatre shows from the keyboard.

In 1998, she was thrilled to be project producer and soloist for the Elmer Iseler Singers' most recent (and Dr. Iseler's last) recording "The Maple Leaf Forever - A Canadian Panorama". With this Canadian Unity project, she was honoured to perform for Prime Minister Jean Chretien that summer for a special reforestation ceremony in eastern Ontario.
